• Receive grant from Atherton Family Foundation to expand preservation efforts to include additional Küpuna beyond Nona Beamer

April 2001

• Premiere of nationally-televised "EGG the arts show" segment on hula, featuring: Nona Beamer, Maile Loo, and Sonny Ching; work of HPS is noted on EGG's website
